Food and packaging machine services in Toronto and the GTA

Complete electrical, automation and commissioning for food processing and packaging lines. We install the machine, wire it, program it, bring it up to CSA, and keep it running.

Industrial automation and packaging equipment services

We support a wide range of packaging machinery and production lines. These are the industries we work in, and the work we do.

  • Food & beverage processing
  • Packaging & production lines
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Automotive
  • Battery manufacturing
  • General industrial facilities

Machine installation and assembly

Packaging machines set in place, mechanically assembled and connected, from the crate to the line.

CSA compliance and certification

Electrical standardization on imported or older machines so they meet Canadian standards and can be certified.

PLC programming and upgrades

New logic, program upgrades, troubleshooting and optimization to get more out of the line.

HMI programming and integration

Operator screens that make sense, tied into the rest of the automation.

Commissioning and start-up

We test the machine under real product, dial it in, and hand it over running.

Preventive and corrective maintenance

Scheduled service, plus the call when something breaks. We find the cause, not just the symptom.

Sensors and instrumentation

Photo eyes, proximity, temperature, load cells and flow, installed, wired and calibrated.

Conveyor systems

Installation, alignment and commissioning, so product moves down the line without jamming.

Stepper motors and drives

Steppers and drives installed, set up, tuned and troubleshot.

Pneumatics and solenoid valves

Valves installed, tested and repaired. Air circuits troubleshot, leaks traced and sealed.

Panel modifications and control wiring

Control panel changes, field wiring and new devices added to a machine already on the floor.

Line upgrades and modernization

Older production lines brought up to date, with the process tuned for output and less downtime.

On the floor

Packaging equipment in motion

This is the kind of machinery we install, wire, program and commission.

CSA compliance

Imported machine that will not pass inspection?

A lot of food and packaging machinery arrives from overseas built to a different electrical standard. It runs, but it does not meet CSA, and in Ontario that becomes your problem the day an inspector or your insurer takes a look.

We go through the machine, standardize the electrical, replace what has to be replaced, correct the control wiring and document all of it, so the field evaluation passes and the machine is certified for use here. Then it is on record and nobody can shut your line down over it.

  • Full electrical review against Canadian standards
  • Panel and control wiring brought up to spec
  • Documented and ready for field certification

Electrical, mechanical and controls

One crew for the whole machine.

Most jobs on a packaging line need three trades: an electrician for the power, a millwright for the mechanical assembly, and a controls person for the PLC and HMI. Chasing three of them is how a two day install turns into two weeks.

We do all three. Mechanical assembly, wiring, programming, pneumatics and commissioning, from one contractor who is accountable for the machine actually running.

  • Mechanical assembly and alignment
  • Power, control wiring and panels
  • PLC, HMI and full commissioning

Beyond the machine

Power and controls for the rest of the plant.

Packaging equipment is one part of it. We also build control panels, wire machines, run 3-phase distribution and handle plant power, all under the same ESA licence.

Why plants call us

The whole machine, one contractor

Mechanical, electrical and controls from one crew. Nothing sits waiting on another trade.

Licensed and insured

ECRA/ESA #7019058, fully insured, certificate of insurance on request.

Downtime comes first

We plan around your production schedule, including nights and weekends.

CSA and code compliant

Machines brought up to Canadian electrical and safety standards, and documented.

15+ years on plant floors

Real time on production lines: PLCs, panels, robot cells and packaging equipment.

Documented handover

Labelled panels, drawings and programs, so your team can maintain it after we leave.

How a machine job goes

  1. 1

    Site visit

We come look at the machine, the line it feeds and the space it has to fit into.

  2. 2

    Scope and quote

A clear scope, timeline and price, including anything needed to meet CSA.

  3. 3

    Install and assemble

Machine set in place, mechanically assembled, wired and connected to power and air.

  4. 4

    Program and commission

PLC and HMI programmed, sensors calibrated, then tested under real product until it runs right.

  5. 5

    Handover and support

Labelled panels, documentation, a walkthrough for your operators, and a number to call.

Questions plants ask

Can you make an imported machine CSA compliant?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We review the electrical against Canadian standards, replace and rewire whatever does not comply, correct the panel and controls, and document it so the field evaluation passes.

Do you do the mechanical assembly too, or only the electrical?

Both. We assemble and align the machine, then wire it, program it and commission it. One contractor for the whole install, so nothing falls between two trades.

Our line is down. How fast can you get here?

Call us. Downtime jobs go to the front of the queue, and we work nights and weekends when that is what it takes to get you running again.

Which PLC and HMI platforms do you work with?

Tell us what you run and we will confirm. We have worked across the common plant floor platforms, including the ones fitted to most imported packaging machines.

Do you handle conveyors, pneumatics and sensors, or just the panel?

All of it. Conveyor installation and alignment, solenoid valves, air leaks, stepper motors, photo eyes and instrumentation are everyday work for us.

Do you only work in food?

No. Packaging and production lines run much the same everywhere, so we also work in pharmaceutical, automotive, battery manufacturing and general industrial plants.
